Tourism Minister pledges to support completion of abandoned Kwadaso Creative Art school

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has given strong assurance that the long-abandoned Kwadaso Creative Art School project will soon be completed.

This follows her inspection of the project in the Ashanti Region as part of a two-day working visit.

In a news report by 3news.com, it mentioned that the Minister disclosed plans to engage the relevant funding agencies, particularly GETFund, to release the needed resources for the completion of the facility.

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) honoured former President John Dramani Mahama at its Golden Jubilee Soiree at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Saturday, 29th November, 2025.

Police arrest man for shooting Adansi Dompoase chief at Obuasi funeral

The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly shooting and injuring a traditional ruler of Adansi Dompoase during a funeral at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.

According to the police, officers on duty heard a gunshot on Saturday, 29 November, and moved in to disarm and arrest the suspect, identified as Nana Yaw Dankwa.

The police retrieved an unregistered single-barreled gun loaded with ammunition during the arrest.
