When God made man, His purpose was to create a copy of Himself. Man was not a mere caretaker of a garden. He was a reflection of the goodness and kindness of the one who made him. He was an image of the first Father of the world.

When a man has children under his care, he becomes the father of his world. Like God, he should be intentional about the well-being of these children. He does not leave it to chance. He provides for his children and sacrifices every comfort of his for them.

With the demands of juggling between keeping a career and home in our modern world today, fatherhood needs to be intentional now more than ever.

Davido fumes after being called out for allegedly owing wedding planner $50,000

Famous Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido has described being called out over an alleged $50,000 debt for wedding planning as crazy.

The singer said this on Sunday evening while reacting to the allegation.

Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, the CEO of the company in charge of Davido and Chioma’s wedding, reportedly called the singer out over unpaid debt.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Yapei Kusawgu, John Abdulai Jinapor, has launched a GH₵1 million Education Scholarship Fund aimed at supporting brilliant but needy students within his constituency. 

The initiative, which targets learners from the basic to tertiary levels, seeks to alleviate the financial burden on parents while promoting equitable access to quality education for all children, regardless of their background.

Metro Mass spare parts stuck at port for 2 years

The Managing Director (MD) of Metro Mass Transit Limited (MMTL), Kale Cezar, has revealed that a container loaded with spare parts supplied by Dutch manufacturer VDL has remained at the port for more than two years.

This, he said, had compounded the operational and financial challenges confronting the state-owned transport company.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Graphic, the MD disclosed that the container was imported under the company’s previous management, but was never cleared from the port, leading to mounting charges and missed opportunities to deploy much-needed buses onto the roads.

Volta Health Directorate driver arrested after GHS vehicle intercepted with suspected narcotics

A driver with the Volta Regional Health Directorate has been arrested and detained by the police in Ho after a Ghana Health Service vehicle was intercepted with items suspected to be narcotic substances, triggering both a police investigation and an internal inquiry by health authorities.

The suspect, identified as Godsway Kwaku Dogbey, was arrested following what police sources described as an intelligence-led operation carried out by the Volta Regional Police Command.

The incident occurred when the driver allegedly failed to stop at a police checkpoint at OLA Top in Ho and drove through a barrier, prompting officers to give chase. Police said the vehicle was later intercepted near Tarso Hotel, where it was impounded and searched.
