Asamoah Gyan reacts after Fatawu Issahaku hit his famous celebration as Leicester City beat Charlton

Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has celebrated youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku after the Leicester City forward hit his famous dance celebration during the game against Charlton Athletic in the English Championship. 

The 21-year-old scored a sensational curler to secure victory for the Foxes at the Valley, and immediately performed Gyan’s iconic 2010 goal celebration dance.

After the match, Issahaku shared the moment on social media, which saw him receive widespread praise and also courting the attention of the ex-Ghana captain. Gyan’s hit song with the late Castro de Destroyer was also used for the social media post.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe unhappy with extended GFA presidential term

Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has expressed strong disapproval of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) decision to extend the presidential term limit from two to three terms.

During the GFA’s 31st Ordinary Congress on Tuesday, delegates voted overwhelmingly to approve the amendment to the association’s statutes. Out of 124 members present, 114 voted in favour, six opposed, and three abstained. The change now allows a GFA president to serve a maximum of 12 years instead of eight.
