The Police station at Kukruantumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality has been closed down following the recent attacks on the station. Some youth on Sunday, September 21, attacked the Kukruantumi Police Station and the barracks with stones, dubs and tried to set the building ablaze following the death of a suspect in police custody who had been arrested for unlawful entry and stealing and was admitted at the Kukruantumi Community Hospital.
