In the wake of the recent election rerun in Ablekuma North, which descended into chaos and heightened tensions between the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP, Political Analyst Mr. Samuel Boateng has vehemently denounced the incursion of thugs at the electoral venue, resulting in harm to a former Member of Parliament, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, the NPP Vice Chairman, journalists, and other notable individuals present to observe the proceedings.
Speaking the media, Mr. Samuel Boateng remarked that while Ghanaians possess a profound understanding of the democracy practiced, politicians have endeavored to disrupt the peace enjoyed by the nation through elections, resorting to bloodshed and other brutalities in their quest for victory. He asserted that such actions must be unequivocally condemned, stressing that under no circumstance should politics strip individuals of their humanity.
