The residents of AGYEGYEMAKUNU, a farming community in Kintampo South District in the Bono East Region are in dying need of social amenities and are appealing to Government and the District Assembly to come to their aid.
The residents, Speaking with Kintampo Based FIRE RADIO Morning Show Host and AMANSAN TELEVISION (ATV), correspondent Odehyeeba Prof Kay made it known that, they have suffered in many years meeting certain basic amenities like Health Care Center, portable drinking water, electricity extension, teachers to handle their Kindergarten and Nursery school,. toilet facility, good road to transport their farm produce to Kintampo market amongst others .
The Assembly Member for the Electoral Area,Hon Kwasi Benvividly explained the situation of the communities saying that, their major issue
is their Health Care Center which has been abandoned for almost ten years without the Assembly attending to
Among the issues is the road leading to Kintampo which is also in a devastated state making it difficult for the farmers to transport their farm produce to the Kintampo Wednesday mark.
Punpuatifi, which is another community, Hon Kwasi Ben, stated that, their school is lacking classroom and appealed to Government and the District Assembly to come to their assistance.
