A 25-year-old woman, Vera Akosua Asare, has been ordered to stand trial at the Koforidua High Court on October 13, following allegations that she caused the death of her ex-boyfriend in a brutal acid attack. The District Court in Koforidua concluded preliminary hearings and committed Vera to trial for manslaughter. During the proceedings, she reportedly admitted to the facts presented by prosecutors.
