The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) is urging institutions, Residential facility owners, and schools across the country to regularly invite its officials to provide disaster risk management education.
According to NADMO, these educational engagements are crucial in reducing the occurrence of domestic and man-made disasters that frequently affect schools, workplaces, residential facilities, and homes.
Speaking to the media after a disaster risk management sensitization at Goaso, the Ahafo Regional NADMO Director, Nana Adu Bonsu Gabriel, called on both public and private institutions to prioritize disaster preparedness through NADMO’s educational initiatives.
“Disaster prevention starts with awareness. We encourage all institutions, landlords, and school administrators to partner with us to promote safety and resilience,” he stated.
