Goalkeeper for Bibiani Gold Stars, Emmanuel Kobi, has declared that the team is ready for their Champions of Champions clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, August 31.
Having won the Ghana Premier League title last season, Gold Stars are set to face off with Kotoko, winners of the MTN FA Cup last season, in an epic clash to serve as a curtain raiser for the 2025/26 football season.
Speaking ahead of what will be a big game, Emmanuel Kobi noted that Gold Stars are ready for the game and stressed that the team is not scared of any opponent.
“Once we have been able to lift the Ghana Premier League, we are not scared of any team. We have been preparing, and we are not paying attention to the form of any team. We are ready to face Kotoko. We have to take the trophy,” Kobi said in a video shared by the Ghana FA on X.
The 2025 Champions of Champions clash will be played on Sunday, August 31.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Bibiani Duns Park.
