Netizens have been struck by the sudden passing of popular Ghanaian TikToker, Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju.
According to reports gathered by GhanaWeb, Osanju died in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, after a long battle with blood cancer (leukemia).
Sources indicate that his last social media post was on August 31, 2025, in which he expressed disappointment with FC Barcelona following their 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
Prior to his untimely death, Osanju opened up in an interview with Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu, revealing how he had been accused of faking his illness to solicit funds online.

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has refuted claims circulating on social media that it has replaced the culturally significant inscriptions “Woezor” (Ewe) and “Akwaaba” (Akan) with the word “Oobake” on the signage at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
In a statement dated August 28, 2025, and signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Maame Efua Houadjeto, the GTA clarified that it never authorised or approved any alteration to the existing inscriptions, which remain intact as symbols of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.
The Authority emphasised that any change to signage at the national monument would require consultation with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the relevant agency.

Hiddink joined the Phobians on a three-year deal in 2023 but left the job after eight months. Hearts decided to end the contract and failed to pay the rest of money owed him, forcing Hiddink to seek redress from FIFA.
A case he won with the world governing body ordering Hearts to settle the amount while also facing a transfer ban.
Following the decision, the club has reportedly made contact with Hiddink’s camp but according to his legal representative, David Winnie, the Dutchman opted against the meeting.
