The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power interruption in parts of Tema to allow for maintenance works aimed at improving electricity supply in the area.
In a notice issued by the company, the maintenance exercise is expected to take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
ECG indicated that the exercise will result in a temporary power outage in McKeon, Sky Quarries, Westrafo and nearby communities.
The company explained that the planned maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the reliability and stability of power supply to customers in the affected areas.
ECG also apologised to residents and businesses for any inconvenience the temporary interruption in electricity supply may cause.
