Firefighters have successfully contained a major blaze that gutted several shops at Kantamanto Tazani Lane near Ecobank in Accra in the early hours of Tuesday, October 21, 2025. According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the incident was reported at 1:31 a.m., with the first fire appliance arriving at 1:42 a.m. to commence firefighting operations.
