Minister of Youth and Sports, Kofi Adams, has revealed that he was warned to avoid the Ministry to protect his reputation. According to him, both close associates and concerned Ghanaians advised him against taking the position, fearing he would struggle to navigate the challenges posed by internal factions within the Ministry. Despite these cautions, Adams stated that he is not easily intimidated and is prepared to face any difficulties. He remains confident in his ability to succeed in his role. “Yes, it was frightening. When I was nominated, the news everywhere was that the sports ministry is full of mafias who engage in all sorts of activities. Can you survive? I thought, well, it’s a ministry in Ghana with Ghanaians working there. “If you’re warned about a place, it means you must be extra careful. Rather than feeling sad, I felt encouraged to face the challenge and deal with it,” Kofi Adams said.
