The Koforidua Polyclinic, in collaboration with GapBuster Inc. and partner organizations, has carried out a two-day medical outreach at Nyamekrom in the Eastern Region.
The exercise recorded a high turnout, with over 600 adults and 120 children receiving medical attention. Services provided included general consultations and eye care, which saw particularly high demand.

More than 120 children were screened and treated, while 64 students received training in health education and CPR/AED, aimed at equipping them with knowledge in basic emergency response.

In addition, staff of the Koforidua Polyclinic benefited from Basic Life Support training, a capacity-building exercise expected to strengthen the facility’s emergency care delivery.

Officials of the Polyclinic expressed appreciation to GapBuster Inc., volunteers, and partner organizations for their support in making the initiative a success.
