Eligible voters in the Akwatia constituency are voting today, Tuesday, September 2, to elect a new Member of Parliament in respect to the death of their original appointee, Ernest Kumi. The Electoral Commission has opened 119 polling places throughout the constituency to facilitate the electoral process. Approximately 50,000 registered voters will participate in the by-election.
